CivGeneral's Short Apology letter

I wish to apologise to everyone here on why I suddently went silent and began only posting in the TCIT. I have been busy with college for the first 2 weeks since I dont want to have a repeat of last year when I was almost kicked out due to a low GPA.

I will promise to be more active in this term since I beleve I have gotten past the rough part in college .

Welcome back.
Your Deputy SaaM took over and did a good job. Don't worry, the office was taken care of. And school is more important than Civ.

Thank goodness, I was getting worried for a second there that my reputation was starting to get draged through the mud. I agree, Education (not the tech ) is more important than Civ and the internet.

Thank you Rik .

Welcome back While not all of us agree that education is better than civ, your reason for absence is excellent.

CG. Isn't the offical absence thread the place to go if you are going to go to if you wont be here for a while. I beleive that if you had done this then the problems that we did would not have occured. Keepin us informed is a good thing.
BTW, I'm glad you're back.

Erm, I went on an absence unnoticed. Plus, I had a ton of homework to to do and I had not gotten the chance to post it.

Was this absence unnoticed by you or by us?

It is better to say that you might be away for a few weeks and you are able to your elected job, than to say nothing. It just alerts people to your possible absence. I have no problem with the fact that you had to do your homework, but as an elected official, we do need more info if you happen to be away for a while. You could have said that school( uni, college) is starting in a few days and I might be busy in the next few weeks. If that is the case, I leave my department in the capable hands of my deputy until futher notice. Hopefully that when an official will be absent, they will follow protcol and stop what almost happened in this case.
