Coming back after 2-3 years Questions

Hai guys, I used to play this mod back in 2014, and I was, for the most part, really impressed. I posted some bug reports, suggestions, etc back then too.

I see you guys are currently at version 36, and are patching "pre-v37" still in the http://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/v36-crime-patch.559944/ because v37 will break saves from previous versions.

My old c2c save was with version 33 and on a giant earth custom map or something (looking through files... holy hookers you guys got a lot of file names and readme's and whatnot in the folder. 0.o) With version 33, can I update to v 36 pre 37 svn 9328 without any adverse effects? I might just start over anyways..

Second question: Is there a comprehensive change log anywhere to be found? I ask this because I am curious to see whats new as well as if any of the chemical and biological warfare ideas have been added yet.
I posted this suggestion that Thunderbrd replied to saying they may refer to it when implementing chemical and biological warfare.

You should be able to play a v33 game in v36 OK. You will probably get a lot of messages saying stuff is no longer available. You wont be able to play it in v37 though.

As far as I know nothing has been done on chemical and biological war yet. I haven't even got the mine warfare stuff in properly.
 
Yeah, you'll see a lot has improved and changed but there's still a lot more stuff to go. Bio/chem weapon development stuff is probably not all that far off really but I'd be surprised if it was fully addressed even by the end of the v38 development cycle still.
