Governor of Boaring Wallow

- After current build finishes, start work on the first library of our great nation
- minimize growth but work all flood plain tiles
- The governor of Boaring Wallow can change these instructions

UPDATED:
As of now I will not be at the turnchat...Saturday mornings are my long bike riding time. All Military decisions not specifically stated fall to the descretion of the DP NOT a spot vote.

Units needed:
This is more of a request to the governors. I need more axmen and 3 or 4 more spears. I prefer for them to trained in barracks. So consider building them if you dont have them already.

Promotions
Unless specifically directed:
1. axemen need to be promoted down the City Raider path.
2. Spears should not be promoted until we see force composition of the enemy.
3. Warriors should be promoted to Woodsman II in order to have quicker exploration. Hold any promotions after that point.

IF there is any doubt..delay promotions till next turnchat.

Injuried units
Recover all units right away if they are in a defensive bonus tile. If not move them to the nearest one and start recovery.

Unit movement orders
If you spot any units please note their composition and location. Especially those garrsions in other civs cities.

Warrior 3..located north of Germany. Please send him to remove all of the black to the N and NE of Berlin. His ultimate goal location is the large block of unexplored area South of the german territory.

Axman...located NW of BW. Should stay in that general area on barb patrol. He needs a promotion so attack barbs at will.

Axman... located on coast( has medic promotion) should be sent down to Abydos for garrsion duty. Once there please send the warrior( least promoted one) south to the southern most Mongolian border. This has been approved by the Abydos governor.

Axman in BW borders...is assigned to escort the worker. When his job is finished(or his replacement gets close), place him on sentry/bard duty on our frontier East of Abydos. He should be placed on the northern most forested hill right outside of Abydos borders.

Axman in production at BW will be sent down to a position between Abydos and BW on bard guard. He will be the replacement to guard the worker.

Sorry so long...it would not be if I knew I was going to be here. AGAIN...all other military things are in DPs hands NOT a spot vote. I know not everything on here will be finished this turn chat, but this is our military's short term goals.

Official Instructions from the Ministry of Science

Continue researching Alphabet. Please stop play after Alphabet has been completed, but before the next tech has been chosen (it should be close to the end of the normal 10 turns). If you have to select a "dummy" tech (preferrably mathematics, because that's what was in the queue before I was elected), that's fine, because we can change it at the start of the next TC, without having to spend any research on the "dummy" tech.
I'm sure you understand why I want to end play at this specific time - I want to be able to see what we can get from techs before we select our next tech. If you have any questions or objections, please let me know ASAP.

Minster of the Interior Instructions

Use our current worker to continue to connect Abydos to the other cities provided that he is protected by another unit.

I would like to have the SoW designate a unit to protect the worker as this occurs.

I would also like for Abydos to cease production of the Obelisk and produce a worker. I leave the build of the other two cities to the discretion of the govenors.

I reserve the right to alter these instruction at a later date, including at the turnchat.

That poll (after the discussion) will not have finished before the turnchat.

true  ..OK...next turn. :)

Secretary of State -

Demands:

Accept demands (requests) from Peter and Bismark unless it's for a tech, civic change, or monetary value that's more than 8 gold.

Decline demands from Ghengis.

Trading:

Nothing much to trade right now. We need the Alphabet to trade techs.

Wars:

Don't declare war this turnchat.

Open Borders:

Keep our current open borders.

Mongolia - The people appear to want open borders with Mongolia, with the backing of a discussion thread. I am willing to concede to this under one condition -- that, should any Mongolian settler/defender pair walk next to our border (that is, just on the outside), cancel the deal immediately. This may push us into break-even with Mongolia. That would mean trades and deals are less favoriable for our nation to make to them. If the poll fails, then don't do the trade.

President-elect:

This (yawn-inducing) order has no validity until until the run-off poll for president is validated by the censor. Please check the poll thread for a validation of my election before following this order:

Maintain 90% science slider rate unless rate is lowered automatically by game mechanics, in which case maintain highest rate possible.

I'd love to attend, but I have to go in to the office tomorrow. I hope to make it for the tail end of the TC.

First picture from above...

And the capital on turn 4. The new worker from City #3 moves to the hill south of the capital to build a mine.

Barb situation near Abydos turn 4

Turn 5 warrior defended against barb warrior in the jungle. 1.9/2 now. A barb warrior moves the Abydos doorstep. Worker starts a mine at the capital.

Barb goes bye bye attacking our warrior in Abydos...

The news from a far away lands shows that the Malinese have constructed the Oracle, learned CoL and founded Confucinism.

Right before our turn 8 our warrior at Abydos protects the city again. He goes 1.9/2 and is offered a promotion. His promotion and the axe in Boaring Wallow both are available for upgrade. The save at turn 8 600 BC

The save at alphabet
