Platyping's Promotions and Traits

Not worth my time to code something that is going to happen just once or twice in whole game.

Wonder effects are ever lasting generally, although some are one off as well.
But you are sure that you can always see that wonder built in that game, unless advanced start games and it is an ancient wonder for instance.
And you get unique wonder artwork with movie etc.

What do you get with events?
Just a pop up this has happened, see the effects thats it.

Most importantly, I will not code anything with choices given, namely civics and events.
Because A.I. has no idea what to choose.

Oh, man... here's some MORE tags to work out for my C2C traits projects! Ugh... too... much... inspiration... can't... take... it... captain!

Hmm, initial idea was just 11 Negative Traits, since only 11 BTS traits.
But since the screenshot didn't look nice, made a few more to have a "balanced" screenshot.

New Traits:
Loathsome, Sentimental, Benevolent, Dim-Witted
(Yeah, I know Benevolent and Sentimental are actually good, but effects are not)

Adjusted Traits:
1) Gullible: Changed from Pay 50% More to Receive 33% Less
(The poor fellow might have paid everything he had, and we don't want him to end up in a deficit right? :D But if he is at the receiving end, then there won't be such a problem)

2) Negligent: Removed Population Loss (So that every trait description is a one - liner for my screenshot to look nice :D)
Chance increased to 8% as a result

Trait Mechanics
Spoiler :
Arrogant: Triggered onCombatResults, so things like Air Battle, Interception will not trigger

Benevolent: Rounded Down (9 Stored Food => 4 Stored Food)

Corrupt: Based on Real Production Cost seen in the City Screen after all adjustments

Cowardly: Only triggered when war is declared upon, not vice versa.
Affects Military Units only
Effects stack if many teams declare war together (Vassals excluded)

Cruel: Rounded Down (5 Turns => 7 Turns)

Dim-Witted: Rounded Up (5 Stored GP => 3 Stored GP)
Triggers even if GP Born from Tech

Gullible: Triggers even if both players are Gullible (The receiving end suffers)

Intolerant: Not applicable if no state religion

Jealous: Only when player has met the golden age player

Lazy: Rounded Down (2 XP => 1 XP)
Affects Built Units only, Drafted not affected

Loathsome: Triggered even with Random Events Off
Requires the "Partisan" Event to be in the Event Triggers XML file.
Does not trigger if taking back own cities

Negligent: Wonders excluded

Pessimistic: Effects stackable

Ruthless: Rounded Down (5 Population => 2 Population)
Does not trigger when taking back own cities

Sentimental: Anarchy Length = 25% Golden Age Length
Min 2 Turns

Wow negative traits your on a roll Platy this is awesome!

This really makes for some interesting leaders :goodjob:

I can just imagine giving a leader like Vlad the Impaler the Loathsome trait and see the following angry mobs of peasants rise up against him.
 
I am more curious to see who belongs to gullible or dim-witted :mischief:

Joao: Gullable(only because of the deal Portugal made with Spain over who gets what in the new world...Portugal diffinitely got the short end of the stick :)

Alexander: Arrogant

Attila the Hun: Ruthless

Phillip II: Intolerant

Montezuma: Cruel

Constantine: Negligant

Neville Chamberlain: Cowardly

Renamed Dim-Witted as Irrational

Added 3 New Traits Effects
Dim-Witted (This effect suits the name better), Primitive, Barbaric

Only negative trait I can think of left would be one that effects research negatively, idk what would be a good term for such a trait though. Irrational sort of has that kind of thing covered. Though not all opposition to research in RL is Irrational :/ .
 
Actually I wanna restrict myself to just CvEventManager, but there is nothing much left to do with Research and Espionage without repeating effects.

So... have to add in some files to achieve this.

Hi Platy i am found to errors in you Perfect Precious Priceless PromoPack.

What i am do:

1) Download your Perfect Precious Priceless PromoPack
2)extract in Mods folder
3)Play your mod.

Didn't bother to test, but should be fixed.

Anyway, next time you can just use the manage attachment function to add screenshot directly to a post :D
