Problem getting BTS to install via Disc on Windows 7

Hi,

I recently bought a new Lenovo ThinkCentre M900 SFF PC (Intel Core i7-6700/1TB HDD/8GB RAM/NVIDIA GeForce GT 720) and want to play my CIV IV BTS game. The disc is fine as it opens in windows explorer and lets me right click and run as administrator on "setup", it then opens the box for language, starts to install then eventually says "Not installed properly, please re-install then retry the game" even though it hasn't yet been installed. I see lots of different threads on this but nothing has helped yet. Can anyone help me with this?

UPDATE!

So I've installed CIV IV (original) and now have patch 3.19 on the C:drive/games folder as recommended in other posts. I still cannot get BTS to install (right click admin) and have also tried to install patch 3.19 (right click admin) and get the following hanging screen and msg below:
