Now that 1.3 has been released, the <link removed> is open to public contributions. There are a few guidelines, however.

  1. Always, always, always use templates. These allow us to maintain the style of the wiki, and make it easy for people to contribute. For a list of all templates (including those for common images), check the <link removed> page.
  2. If you are unsure about something, ask first. If you'd like an example, copy the content from an existing, related page, and then make the necessary changes.
  3. When naming a page, simply use the actual name of whatever the page is for.
    • One caveat here; If there are two items with the same name, add a suffix of the type. Example: Mercant (Trait) and Merchant (Specialist).
    • If the default page already exists, it means that it needs to be renamed to reflect the new addition; Contact an admin to move it.
  4. No spam or defacement of the wiki; We have admins who will be checking all contributions, and violators will be banned.

And that's pretty much all I can think of right now. You must register in order to contribute (cuts back on spam), and if you need an explanation of what tags a template uses, each and every template has a full, detailed description on it's page, accessible via the Help page.

Moderator Action: The wiki link has been removed because it appears that the domain is now a redirect to a phishing/malware site.

And just so you know, there IS some unannounced info in the wiki. I'm rather curious to see how long it takes people to find out who got the Overflow Production ability, for one thing. :p

Honestly, I'm looking for more in the "What the heck am I supposed to do with this civ" aka Strategy sections.
 
I'll see what I can do about getting a proper strategy text written up for the Mekarans. It might take a bit, though, as I have other issues to deal with as well, at the moment.
 
Sorry, Jheral, I wasn't as clear as I thought I was. I meant strategy sections across the board for civs, not just yours. I haven't seen your stuff before, is it new for 1.3 or did I miss a link somewhere?

Honestly, I'm looking for more in the "What the heck am I supposed to do with this civ" aka Strategy sections.

We will be adding them. For now, we're focusing more on getting all units/buildings/etc in, though; Make it as complete as possible, and then add strategy texts.

Sorry, Jheral, I wasn't as clear as I thought I was. I meant strategy sections across the board for civs, not just yours. I haven't seen your stuff before, is it new for 1.3 or did I miss a link somewhere?

New for 1.3, only available to testers. Also only 'modular' because of modular python; His module is very well organized, perfect example of what can be done with the modular system.

Ah, right. Still, it does need a strategy text; I haven't been that great at documenting the options available to them. :p

Wait... we weren't supposed to have already seen that page? I found it a few days ago while trying to look up the probability for emergent leader traits (which I didn't see there, but found elsewhere on these forums).

Anyway, nice Wiki!

Found that in Emergent leaders, while Minor leaders take the current mechanic.
I wonder what is ment by leveling up the trait...
