Upcoming games

eh probably. I don't own it anymore, had it years and years ago on super nintendo

Edit: actually it's on virtual console for wii, I should just get mega man there. But this new game still looks very awesome

Isnt it easier just getting an emulator? If you own the game then its totally legal and legit.

I highly doubt that most people who play emulators actually own the games anymore (if they ever did).

Also some people want a new Megaman game, even if its just like the old one but new. Dunno what the big deal is but then I've never played Megaman.

Cus mega man X was like one of the greatest side scrollers ever. I mean you have mario series and sonic, but mega man was different cus he shot bullets (or pellets or plasma balls or whatever he shoots) and you collected weapons along the way. Plus the stage system was so awesome. And mega man X was the epitome of the series, introducing special areas that could only be unlocked by beating different bosses, and the different weapons to counter bosses, plus all the power up gear. Most modern side scroller games have these rpg elements to them now, but at the time it was pretty noteable, mario you just did level after level collecting fire flowers and 1ups, you didn't really advanced your hero like mega man.

I guess thats true. IMO this is an area that GOG should try and expand into. I am sure there is a big market out there for the likes of sonic, mario, old disney games, streets of rage, alex the kid, etc. We have had a drip drip feed of final fantasy remakes. But no one has really gone to town on the whole emulation thing. GOG have licensed doxbox, so i dont see why they cant also license the emulators, then port the roms into some sort of database, and then release cash dividends to the devlopers of the games. Simples!

Have you ever played contra? That was the best side scroller imo.

Mighty No 9, looks exactly like a mega man X clone, which I say bring it on! Looks pretty good. Mega man classics (1-6) have been rereleased but I still haven't found mega man X anywhere digitally for pc (I think it might be in xbox store or something).

That's pretty much what it is, given that one of the original creators of the mega man series is behind it. It was one of the big kickstarted games from the last couple of years. They pulled in almost $4 million.

Game is already release but have you guys seen this?

It looks pretty sweet.

Does anyone have convoy? Also looks like a great game.

Spoiler :

This too looks pretty good, I'm just not sure about a top down 360 shooter. Those games are usually fun for a bit but very repetitive with no depth.

EDIT: are my youtube links working? I can get them to play in forum.

I've had that in my wishlist for a little bit. I've been waiting to see some reviews. I like the concept, but I want to know if it actually does what it says it does. So many games these days are shining examples of "biting off more than you can chew."

The URLs look weird. youtu.be?

When I linked the urls from my address bar it didn't work so I hit share button and that's the url it gave. It's a common you tube link
