I'd also be curious about the history of this map. It's definitely not a historically accurate one. Vietnam is represented by a South Vietnamese flag interposed with a North Vietnamese star in Southern colors, and includes Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand, for instance. India and Pakistan are united, but with the Pakistani colors and Indian wheel. The Stans are independent and unified, but Poland is a part of the USSR proper. I'm not sure what's up in Granada or Morocco, and Australia has the Aboriginal flag.
