SOTD40: I Can't See

And you thought you needed glasses, look at what France and England needs to just get through
Well, this is why they don't normally allow cities 1 tile from each other.

Is this how close Paris and London are in real life? They violate the rules of civ!

I believe the correct spot is 1N, 1W.

At least that's where it is on Rhye's map >.>

well they still need to land a ways away, to avoid the anphibious penalty. so i think it ballances out.

If this is how close London and Paris are, imagine Kent and Cherburg!

IF the French found Cherbourg on Rhye's map, it's close enough to control the channel for a very long time

I think a better question is what of Dover and Calais, Dover is exactly where London is plotted and Calais should be a square north of Paris. Furthermore, Dover and Calais are connected by the Channel Tunnel railway. Heh, kinda reminds me of that other SOTD with roads in the water.

Anyway, brilliant shot.

It's not a good map - London is closer to where the horse resource is, Dover is where London is on the map.

I like how London is so awesome, Paris builds Moai statues facing it. And BTW, this was the "Earth" map, and the screen shot itself is almost 3 years old XD

London is not there. London should be where the horse resource is.
