The AI would rather give up their precious snow cities than give those smelly natural wonders +5 culture. :p
I love the world congress but it might need some minor tweaks.
Gunboat diplomacy of course also costs quite a bit of money in maintenance. AoD wins on that count too.
It's odd that they clearly had a design philosophy wherein each ideology is good at three victory types but then made freedom the best at everything and autocracy good at domination alone...

The WC resolution provides +5 culture to natural wonders. +10 to Spain. The combination of hotel, airport and national visitors centre would yield 40 tourism for a Spanish city with the Great Barrier Reef and the resolution. Even Grand Mesa would be more than worth it.
I have it. Won a culture victory as Gandhi way back when. You can't puppet or conquer because then what would be the point?
I'm not sure if you can cheat and give away all your cities on the last turn. I wouldn't really feel like I had an "achievement" if I did that though...
I enjoy trade routes. You can just beam your religion at heathens. :p
I was casually building up a religion as Portugal recently and noticed something crazy when I moused over a city state. My single trade route to it was providing 22 religious pressure. Which I guessed was Religious Texts...
It can't be emphasised enough how much of a trap Monument to the Gods is. It's boost is comparable to God of Craftsmen which isn't that great itself and lasts forever.
Nah. You get 4 science specialists, max, ever. Bananas with universities are their own science specialists with food to support two more.
I have never improved a banana resource since I've gotten reasonably good at the game.
Well... You could stymie them with rough terrain... except for that +1 movement thing that they have...
Or what about ranged attacks? Though they do have those cover promotions...
I know! Get them in open terrain and murde... what? they have open terrain bonuses too!?
