Can France be made a contested territory for England for a time ? Perhaps part of an alternative course for England. I'm thinking of a choice based strategy similar to the Mongol game in RFCA. It could be interesting for England. Also, how about giving the Philippines to the USA ?

In Sword of islam soldier units can do that too after a city gets conquered. Religious persecutor appears too late for removing religions, you're basically just stuck with religions you may not want appearing in your city till you discover Doctrine.

Do military units have the ability to 'massacre the non-believers' like in Sword of Islam ? If so why not put that in here ? It would also help with medieval period pagan URV gameplay.

Speaking of 'space filling empires' what about someone filling in Siberia if Russia fails ? (and it does sometimes) .

I had the same idea with the Dutch once, never settle the core, just the historical area around South Africa. Turn them into a Boer civ :D . How about that as a civ ? Could have the Bantus as a civ too.

It seems with space filling civs like Australia and Canada Britain's late game will be mostly finished :( .

I'm playing in 1.15 base version without any added SVNs. That wonder isn't available to me. I'll try with Tibet and see how it goes. Though this makes it very hard to accomplish as most other large civs :( .

Okay that helps a lot ! I guess the best Civ to do the Buddhist URV then is Tibet.

How exactly does one go about doing the Buddhist URV ? I tried as Japan while the 300 turn peace is just too easy, the other two seem too tricky. It might be possible to get every other civ to cautious or better, but how does one even try to get the approval rating goal ? How does approval even...

That's why it was so fun xD . I loved how whimpy the Germans and Russians were in this game. I put my army next to Frankfurt and the Prussians just ran ... the RAN ! The Russians didn't even try to attack my vassals ! I was tempted to take out Kiev but I decided against it :P . I might do...
