DLC and MODS Conflict of interests.

Well, official products will always have more polish. And, they have the resources to do a lot more with the game. I doubt their add-on content will be that simple (no offense to modders).

    ARMENIA - A True Civilization

Honestly, as much as an influence they are, we don't see everyone we like. We don't see Prussians, Danes, or Swiss. Hell, we don't ever see Italy because we have Rome. It's just a matter of the civilization being surpassed by others in importance, or at least popularity. Sorry, but I don't...

    Joao

Joao possible has the best traits for expansion, and you can extend your reach very quickly. It's really quite useful.

    Game crashes...video card problem?

I also have that problem. I have an ATI Radeon 9250. I was really starting to get into the game when this started happening.

Many problems with the World Editor.

I find the World Editor in Civ4 rather annoying. And I don't want to be forced to mess with the ..ini file because I don't want to make a mistake with it. CivIII's editor was a lot friendlier to use. I also miss CivIII's map randomization. The editor actually took plate tectonics into...

    Civilizations Uniqueness

Modding can only bring so much, I'd much rather have some official features. Edit: I think it would work better if the series itself transition into that, rather than mods.

    Civilizations Uniqueness

Well, I actually have a few things I want to cover here. First of all, With Civilizations becoming more unique, it's becoming harder to find one that a civ that fit my tastes, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I was thinking there should be customizable civs. Of course, they wouldn't be...

    Do you build a Navy?

I only build enough of a navy to move ground forces and to defend my shores. I prefer land combat.

Workers, do they know what they're doing?

They need some sort of macro management options. That way, you can give auto workers priorities so they aren't so useless.

    My vision for Civilization V

I think there needs to be some techs that, once researched, elimanate other researches and the same with units. that way, not all civilizations use the same units. The game would grow more diverse as time goes on. Also, I think they need an option for extended time periods. A player...

Little dissapointed about tech tree paths

It keeps people from ober powering with overpowering with early tanks and even riflemen. They still need to work on a more advanced tree to give you an upperhand in something if you concentrate on it, but not early riflemen or something. I found it hard to be ahead of the game with military...

Dont you just wish... they hadn't used a 3d engine?

3d for Civ has potential. They could do a lot with it. They aren't doing much with it now, except for the global view and zooming, which I definitely do like. They would probably take more advantage of the 3d engine in the next installments.

Dont you just wish... they hadn't used a 3d engine?

The next civ would probably have pretty similar graphics. 3D allows for a lot of new stuff, so I think it was for the best.

    About China

He was a well known leader. They are not glorifying Mao or Stalin in this game. He was part of history, and that is why he is in the game. He might not have been a good leader, but he was a leader. On a side note, Genghis was brtual to his enemies, whether they were woman, children, old...
