One drawback to CivV's 1UPT is that in CivIV early game I like to pair two workers to improve tiles and resources twice as fast as one worker does.

Deciding where to put your second and third cities is critical. A city which can't grow or doesn't produce very much does you no good. If you haven't determined what win you're trying before you reach the classical era you're not going to win.

I played Civ IV for years and enjoyed it immensely. I downloaded Civ V, it was kinda-sorta okay in a beta game way, got patches and upgrades, but didn't get any more enjoyment out of the game. So I went back to Civ IV. I haven't touched Civ V in over a year. I've just reached the Renaissance...

There are several mods which have various drugs as resources.

For some reason one mod, Rise of Mankind, doesn't run on Windows 10 for me, even though the much large and more complicated Caveman to Cosmos mod does.

The English longbowmen at Agincourt handled knights quite handily.

If you install the Caveman to Cosmos mod you can change units to continue to gain experience from barbs past 10XP. Send some units into unsettled territory and barb animals just keep popping up. It's easy to get several hundred points on those units, especially if you attach a GG to get double...

The Rise of Mankind mod has about 12 corporations which between them use every resource.

How do you do backups if you don't have a CD/DVD drive? Or am I the only one who still backs up the hard drive? :confused:
