  • So everyone goes to heaven? Even mass genocidists? Where is justice?

As for the Pearly Gates thing, it was in Revelation and so we can't be sure how literal it is.
Nobody thinks it was 4,000 years ago. The range for YECs is traditionally 6-10. For several reasons I think 7-8 thousand is most accurate. Regardless, you don't believe there's any such thing as flawed Christianity do you? Because you don't believe Christ is the only way even though he says he is?

Just for curiosity, if you don't believe in hell, do you believe everyone, even unrepentant mass genocidists (I know that's not a word but its the best way to convey my thought) like Hitler or Stalin, go to heaven? Or do they just die if they are terrible people?
European Politics I claim to know little about, though I'm actually interested to know more, hence why I discuss it. But I don't pretend to know much about it.

Catholicism, I do know a decent bit about, such as that they think the Communion is the literal body and blood of Christ, and that works can get you to heaven. Christians? Sure. But very, very flawed versions of Christianity.

As for biology, I don't claim to know much, but my only job is to prove Young Earth Creationism isn't totally stupid and totally lacking of evidence. Classical Hero does a much better job at the rest;)
I did the game for the first time with my female Renegade Adept and she was too cool for her own good (and good-looking, in a severe "mess with me and I'll break your neck" way).

This is the first time on Veteran and with my Paragon default Soldier. I brought Miranda and Jack, though watching the women falling over constantly makes me think I should have brought a man to back me up :)
Bring warpfags. :p I usually take Miri/Thane, Miri/Grunt, or Grunt/Thane to the Collector Ship. Is this the first time you've done the Collector Ship on Vet (or at all)? On your Soldier file?
    Yeah, that's probably safer.

On a happier note, I finished the femshep import last night! :D
I went with the PC versions cause I didn't have an ecksbawks :undecide: It's been all good so far, with only a few minor hiccups (Lair of the Shadow Broker came out a few hours later for us because of a compiling error for instance). I'm pretty happy with the current state of affairs
I am born in Sweden and have lived there aaaaall my life :p My parents came to Sweden as refugees, but they came in their late teens so they've lived here most of their lives as well.

And yeah, a black Swede isn't what most people expect :p
no, i was just really cranky in the past 2 days. apparently loud music does more harm than good.

i apologize for misspelling your name and leaving out the capital letter.
Is Elements the one with the Air, Fire, Water, Earth, etc. and you have to combine smaller shapes to make larger ones? If so, I tried that. It didn't really grab me right away, but if it should pop up in the Daily or Weekly Deal, I'll give it another try. My next planned purchase is Vault Cracker. I really got into that one, and when my time was up I felt rather upset. I guess that's a sign I should get the game... ;)

Forgot to mention the Runes of Avalon games - if you're at all into Arthurian legend, these are quite good. There are some nice scenes that make good wallpapers, I find the music pleasant and relaxing, and the puzzles are quite challenging.

I never did play Myst or Riven.
Did you ever try National Geographic Presents Herod's Lost Tomb? That one's quite interesting. Now for sheer beauty and relaxation, you might want to try Pantheon. It's not really a Match-3 game, although that's where I found in on the website. It's one where you try to clear groups of gems before the candle burns down (there is an untimed mode as well). The music is catchy, relaxing, and the backgrounds are breathtaking. They would make wonderful screensavers - the theme is India, and the backgrounds are full of lush scenery, and animated waterfalls... :) I haven't tried the Large File Games, since I am wary of buying a game unless I know I like it.
Dire Grove won't run worth crap on my computer, so I uninstalled it. One of the things to remember about those is that sometimes when you're looking for a "bat" it could be either the animal, a baseball bat, or they might have the word spelled out. That's why I had so much trouble finding a cow in one picture - it was spelled out with a weird font. The original Ravenhearst is more fun than the sequel, I think. The puzzles are certainly fiendish! There are similar kinds of puzzles in Madame Fate. And I'm totally in love with both Count of Monte Cristo games. I even tracked down the unabridged version of the novel to read - it's on my "to do" list after I finish my current reading pile. :) BTW, you want to do time-wasting? Try Zenerchi. It's a different kind of Match-3... in the shape of a circle, and you have to spin concentric wheels around to do the matches. I'm stuck on the third-from-last level (10-3) - just can't do it fast enough!
Yep, I got addicted to Big Fish Games over a year ago. I'd been playing a lot of mahjongg games and was hunting for Speedy Eggbert, when I stumbled over this site. I figured an hour was long enough to figure out whether or not I liked a game enough to purchase it, so tried a few... I'd never heard of Hidden Object games before, but quickly got addicted to the Mystery Case Files series (Ravenhearst, Prime Suspects, Madame Fate) and some of the more literary ones (Count of Monte Cristo). I also like the Match-3 ones like the Fishdom series and Hidden Wonders of the Depths. I've beta-tested a few, like the Sultan's Labyrinth. Cooking Quest is interesting, because you not only have to find the items - you have to prepare a meal. And since I have no idea how to cook, I've done things in the wrong order or put things together wrong... this game may end up teaching me something practical!
