    Barbarians

I don't think combat bonusses would be a good idea for battlefields. negative city happiness and possible undead spawning (ghouls mostly) would be logical. illegal scavengers could spawn as well as lowlevel (-1tier) barbarian foot meleetroops. as for looting/scavenging by units, XP- I think...

    Detachments

detachments could allow for a more unit=army feel, but it will interfere with the special troops are limited restrictions. Unless the number of troops carrying regiment-promotionX is tracked, limited to Y instances. Requires the ability to 'unload' the regiment promotion so that they can be...

    Detachments

Had a similar idea for the skaven support teams.

    Heroes in the mod

How about the 'watch out Sir!' mechanism from TT as a mechanism that prevents the hero's death when in a stack and instead kills a random or the weakest unit in that stack, while reducing the hero to 10% health (or applying that 'severely wounded' promotion). Hero without a patsy will be...

    Heroes in the mod

Couldn't find this post again, but was shown in notify mail. I like the idea of great general promotions representing commander wisdom that benefits an army he/she commands, such as siegemaster, Marine/pirate Raider, tracker, Master tactician etc. Giving a small bonus to all units on a stack...

    Dwarves design

    ah. ok. great.

    Dwarves design

Are the dwarven mine improvements no longer canon? These gave sufficient extra hammers to offset the suboptimal cityplacement. How about a merchant event that allows buying food? (prereq: granary + marketplace + X money. trigger: hunger in city) Or a civy-special person, (wazzitcalledagain)...

    Heroes in the mod

Ah! discipline was the word. (haven't got any so... ;) ) Good. Animosity is supposed to be a fun feature. It is a side-effect of orcs just loving fighting a bit too much and getting overexcited. Should have some battle bonus effect.... maybe a chance to get a (semi-random from a small list)...

    Heroes in the mod

Just had a nice idea for orc Hero: Warlord : captures/turns defeated greenskin units. defeated units half or quarter strength. He may even represent the civ-leaderhead. (causing anarchy on death, but respawning after anarchy is over) It would be great if orc-civ can have a seperate...

BioNES: Paddling in the Gene Pool

Hi PL. interesting thing you got going here. though it seems to have come off boil. I've got a suggestion for extinctions: only considder extincting a (sub)species if it is outcompeted by several degrees and over multiple turns.... evolving coping strategies is considdered an evolutionary...

    Victory condition: Chaos awakening

just had a thought for a chaos wastes/ warpcounter feature. how about: units have a chance to be lost on warped tiles. (creating another counter B) when warpcounter reaches Z, B number of units of chaos appear a barbarians. alternatively via a great spell can be summoned by a chaotic...

    Common Event Design

exhausting system resources is not acceptable for a single civ feature. let's try option B: shifting sands desert terrain with randomized reversion.

    Happy New Years!

Wasted an entire day recuperating... so yeah! great fun! even played several games of bomberman with some old friends. :D

    Common Event Design

a semi-randomised terrain reversion script based off the terrain.xml lattitude values etc should be possible. I suggest we see how the proposed dunes-feature looks first; this seems to me the approach least prone to technical failure. (it might turn out to look crap though). :P
