Very good addition to the story. I was wondering what would be the cause of death for Ling Lun and the toxic paint was something that I had not thought of. Also wondered if you would abolish slavery after reading Ceasar's reaction to the mural. Keep it coming.

I have seen the same thing for me. That is one of the reasons I switched to Fractal maps. A little more realistic looking, not just two big blobs of land runnng north/south.

As cabert stated, we pretty much need to see the start now to discuss more options. I think everyone discussed the logical steps as Mansa, but the start will dictate the course of action. Or at least start the debate going again.

If anyone want to read an awesome story about Rome, go to Civ 3 stories and tales and read Pax Romana by Vanadorn. Make sure you have about a month to read, it is over 2000 posts. That is a classic story/novel.

Go to local computer game store. Ask for Civ 4 Warlords. If they have it, pay around $30. Go home, install, update to version 2.08 and have lots of time on your hands to play.

I know my 8 year old son learned to play on Settler level and has moved up to the next level. He is learning a lot of things from this game and amazes his mother with the city names and leaders that he knows. He loves to watch me play at Prince level and wonders how I can do so.

Could you use some of your obsolete units to pillage the roads behind you as you fall back? I think you can pillage your own roads. That could slow the attackers down more to give you time to build up a counter attack? I assume that you don't have radio and flight for bombers. That would give...

I voted for Warlords patched. That will give you time to work on your story over in the Stories and Tales forum. That is off to a good beginning by the way. If you don't look out, it could turn into another Pax Romana.

So a 256 Mg Geforce FX5500 isn't much better than a 64 Mg Geforce 2 MX400? That doesn't sound quite right to me. I also have to be careful of the interface speed. With my Dimension 4300, I am not sure if I can put a 8X in. I have to look in my manual when I get home. I think it says 4X/8X...

Thanks for all the replys. Still not sure what to get. I seems like opinion is about 50-50. I only have two slots for ram, so if I get a stick of ram first it will only bump me to 768Mg. I can't afford much more than $75-$80 for a card. New egg and tiger direct is where I have been looking...
