    Religion Run Down

AV: If you're going to let the counter run high, then there are strong advantages to being nonliving, which includes Luichirp (Luichirp also like mines). But you don't have to let the counter run high. You can go AV, kill off Hyborem (sp?), and then go after other evil civs, even while running...

    What's the best Esus civ?

I have not tried this but I suspect it would be very good. Also not that on defense, against a stack of doom, having Nox Noctis can be extremely helpful because they cannot (usually) see stranded units near their stack. And Calabim need an economy boost and have a lot of magic from the vampires...

    FfH2 Bug Thread

I was playing as Elohim and founded AV in Basium's city (and yes, I was playing on Warlord).

    Empyrian-Severely Underpowered

Like A happiness bonus when at peace / when trading with every civ. Trade routes +25 % to both ends of all foriegn trade routes +1 unhappiness for any city with CoE Mages cannot learn shadow mana spells (but civ can get shadow mana for tower victory) and all can learn sun mana spells...

    Empyrian-Severely Underpowered

On SP, Empyrean allows you to: Freeze SoD (but you need to cast blinding light several times). Get an extra vote on the Overcouncil. Cast Pillar of Fire with Chalid -- and also Valor. Reveal Hidden Units with the holy city. Build unique magic-casting mounted units that can...

Your Top Ten Tips for Your Favorite Civ

Since I'm good at the economy and bad at fighting, I like raiders a great deal. Having the raiders trait allows you to: 1) recitify any positioning errors in enemy territory 2) focus on drill, making your stack very good on defense against weak but numerous opponents 3) move extremely...

Elohim Strategies -- and Alternate Palaces!

no difference. As mentioned above, it's the founding civ that counts.

Your Top Ten Tips for Your Favorite Civ

If you really wanted to make them pirates, you would have each of their ships capture a percentage of world trade. However, I don't think that is possible in Civ.

Your Top Ten Tips for Your Favorite Civ

Well, in earlier versions of FFH, Lanun had a severe farming penalty that harmed land development. But nowadays, they can be the easiest civ to play, if the map has a lot of water and you understand how to place the coves.

    Drill versus Combat Promotions

If you have the raiders trait, all units can have blitz and drill

Pyre Zombies, how do they work?

Raiders trait helps a lot. Body magic I -- Haste spell helps too. The only units that are useless are catapults. Life II Destroy Undead is very powerful against them. Arthendain and Sphener get that spell. I assume that it's tough to fight them if you are AV.

Help! My Elves are getting pasted by orcs!

Which leader are you using? Roaming in enemy territory is easier with the raider trait. Also, if you have not done so, take advice from the elf on this forum: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=333136

The Tower of Mastery and Dispel Magic

Have you never kept playing after you win? If you use a builder strategy and build the Tower while numerous other civs remain on the map, you can be conquered after you win. That's why some suggest a benefit (such as channeling 3 for all new arcane units) for building the Tower. The Altar...

The Altar of Luonnotar and hostility

I think that everyone declares war on you. However, there's a trick. If you save up enough engineers and gold to build the Altar (or Tower of Mastery) in one turn, nobody declares war on you.
