The 4 rules of Wonder addiction

The thing that makes capturing the Great Library so appealing is that it can help you out in the tech race no matter what type of civ you are using. Its one of the few wonders that can potentially help any playing strategy (cultural, military, tech-based, whatever). Most other wonders only...

The 4 rules of Wonder addiction

The reason I asked is because the Great Library is very valuable for tech research, but at least one of the AIs usually ends up building it anyway.

The Conscientious Empire: A Peaceful Builder Challenge

Other civs can usually be reasoned with; barbs cannot. Disperse all their settlements and take the money before the AI civs do. Note that you will not have this option on higher difficulties, when the AI civs will wipe out all the barbs before you do.

    The Hittites

I'd just like to point out that, although all the things this article points out about the Hittites are valid for general use, there is one map where they (and the 3-Man Chariot) will absolutely dominate--the "Mesopotamia" conquest. In this map, the Hittites are Militaristic rather than...

If you have Civ4, Why do you keep playing Civ3

Because it takes up less memory on my ancient computer. And it was much cheaper to get (C3C is only as expensive as PS2's "greatest hits" line)

Best Civs for a Cultural Victory?

Hello, I recently bought C3C and am just getting started with Civilization games. I won a Histograph Victory as the Babylonians due to the fact that I had a great deal more culture than any other Civ. I have a few questions-- 1. What are the best civs for a cultural victory other than...
