Civ4 never had to grow on me. I loved it out of the box. Bugs and all.;)

It has some cool features that if modded into civ 4 would kill Civ5. I really like the hexes, global happiness, embarking, and a couple of the new political options. Other than that, the game fails for me. :( I was bored in 2 days play. I never got that bored with "Vanilla" civ4.

I enjoyed your review. I think it was a good decision to review only items in the game, not those left out. I'm bored to death with civ5. The turns still take forever too. It has quad core support however, It's only using 18%-24% of all my cores and IT's STILL SLOW.. Why is it only using...

I'm not happy with the game in it's current state. It bores me to death. Never have I played a civ so uninteresting. I'll try it again in a few months I guess. This would probably rock on a console though. They should port it. :p

@Valkrionn I changed back to original files and tried your installer. It didn't work for me either boss. When I install the files as per Huck's instructions it works fine however, there is no mod listed of course :)

Working fine so far. Playing huge map on Marathon. Will update later. Edit: NM that was a mistake. The save game I loaded to compare tiles was in a golden age :/. Still testing.
