[LP] Civilization VI: Leader Pass - Discussion Thread

I guess I never noticed the change then. I picked work ethic all the time, because it had the +1 bonus for each follower. Perhaps I should restart my game, since I put my holy sites on desert tiles that had no bonuses.

[LP] Civilization VI: Leader Pass - Discussion Thread

Haven't played Civ VI in a while, but the new leaders look great. Did they make changes to religion? I am currently playing a game as Lincoln, and when I was going to pick the work ethic belief, I noticed that it no longer says +1 production for each follower. It just lists a bonus for each...

[1.0.12.9] Siege Tactics & Replaceable Parts Eurekas

I was going to report this same bug, but it seems you already did. Once you get to Bombards, the Trebuchet is obsolete, so you have to build the 2x Trebuchet before you unlock Bombards. It seems a little odd, that you could unlock Cannons by building Trebuchet, as then you essentially skip the...

    Collated list of remaining issues

I know I complained about this in other threads, but Firaxis needs to make an adjustment to luxury and strategic resources. There is nothing more annoying, then having an inconveniently placed luxury or strategic resource that blocks you from placing a district in the desired spot. Either you...

[NFP] Civilization VI: Possible New Civilizations Thread

I vote for the German Elsaß-Lothringen over the French variation, as the Alsatian language is more closely related to German (being a low Franconian dialect) than the French language. Many of the cities in this region have German names, like Strassburg, Metz, Verdun etc. and were ruled by German...

[NFP] Civilization VI: Possible New Civilizations Thread

Charles Martel may have led Francia as opposed to France, but without him, there might not be a France. I tend to favor the civ games using a monarch to represent France, as that is the system of government most people in New France were familiar with. Most French colonies in the USA and...

[NFP] Civilization VI: Possible New Civilizations Thread

For France, the best choices for leader are Charles Martel, Louis XIV, Jean of Arc or deGaulle. Louis XIV did have the humiliating misfortune of fumbling away New France, but I suppose one can overlook that, since he did help the 13 colonies against the British.

ALL Bugs, AI actions and UI Elements in Civ VI we want to have fixed

Firaxis should simply change things so that a damaged unit can be disbanded, but with the penalty of not getting any gold or reward for doing so. If you are low on a resource, you can't repair units, thus the need to disband units to reduce resource consumption. The only other option, is to...

ALL Bugs, AI actions and UI Elements in Civ VI we want to have fixed

I understand this part and have no beef with it, but that was not my complaint. My complaint, is that you can't disband damaged units. Like I said above, I was short on oil for repairing my damaged infantry / artillery, so I wanted to disband some of them to reduce oil consumption. However, Civ...

ALL Bugs, AI actions and UI Elements in Civ VI we want to have fixed

Here is one important thing Firaxis should fix. In my current game as Babylon, I ran into the dilemma of having modern artillery / infantry that I can't heal or disband. I can't heal them, because I don't have enough oil. I also can't disband any of them, but because they are not at full...

    [NFP] Civilization 6 February Update

I have only played a handful of the many civs available in Civ VI, so maybe the February update will entice me to try more civs. After having played Germany, Russia, Australia, Cree, Gaul and now Babylon, I think Babylon is the most interesting, because Babylon allows you to research...

Wait for a steam sale, and then get the best choice value wise. Definitely get the Australia DLC though.

    Discussion about Babylon

In my current game, I have unlocked a wide variety of different military units, though I don't yet have a source of oil to build all of them. If I had access to oil, I could build Field Cannons, Musketmen, Modern Infantry, Siege Towers, Chariots and Biplanes all at the same time. I have yet to...

    Discussion about Babylon

In my most recent game as Babylon, I unlocked machinery and apprenticeship on turns 40 and 42, which was roughly 2360 BC. If you have a good starting location, Babylon can tech up rather quickly. If you have a bad starting spot, then Babylon struggles.

[NFP] Babylon - Eureka guide on (some) military units

Given that Babylon can tech up rather quickly, does anyone actually gets much use out of Babylon's unique unit? It would seem the Sabum Kibittum would get replaced rather quickly with a more advanced unit as you move up the technological ladder.
