I plan to sit this one out. My available time to play the SGOTM has declined significantly with a new job. The last SGOTM was a great game technically and I learned lots, but for me the 'fun factor' was a bit lacking, and I suspect an AW game will favour early rapid conquest and be a similar...

Altho' Civicide clearly realises Erkon is captain as he beleives we have lost, he at least realises that there are still some quality players in MW. I can only assume he is referring to the ex-captain....

Actually I think I'd prefer to remain unpasteurised. I'm quite fond of many of my bacteria (and many talk at least as much sense as LC....)

@ LC: Perhaps you had better get started deleting ~99% of the posts in this thread too ;) The majority must fall into at least two of the prohibited 'spam' categories of the forum rules. Does this post have a point?

I thought if we got LC's turns declared null and void, they would not be included in the total number of turns we took to win (after all, most of his turnsets were steps backwards anyway), and so we would win the gold ;)

The MW pessimism continues.... LC's post had me worried: Could all the other team's doubts about MW finishing early in a silver laurel position really be because they thought BP was still at the helm? (despite 2 consecutive silver laurels already to his name....) Fortunately a quick trawl...
