OK, fresh install of 42.1, right directories etc., Win10, just updated. Then I start (as admin), the C2C mod can be seen ok in the advanced mod selection mode,but it crashes about halfway into loading the C2C assets, I have now done 3 downloads and 6 or so fresh installs.... Any ideas??

OK I have downloaded (three times) and tried the Mod multiple times, without success. The fir expanded attempt allowed the Mod to try to load but then crashed mid load with a message that was too fast to read. Subsequent attempts start correctly as BtS, allows me to select C2C but then just...

I believe windowed, for both BTS and C2C

Thunderbird I had installed CIV4 earlier, and BTS was playing fine, and indeed is still playing fine, but C2C will not play normally, the mouse issue continues...

Ok hoping for a suggestion or two.... I loaded C2C onto my wife's new laptop, (and have deleted/reloaded) because of an odd bug. BTS plays fine, but when C2C is loaded, some mouse clicks do not work, for example she has to use the arrow keys to go to advanced and load a mod, and she cannot...

OK, problem solved. It turned out that installing as administrator was necessary, once I did that and ran as admin the error cleared up. I'm guessing as noted above it was an issue revolving around permissions. Thanks everyone!

It is run as administrator, but I am not sure if it was installed as such. Could that be the issue?
