SCENARIO: Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

Hmmm... Interesting idea. So, the top civs would only be able to build conscript workers in their colonial holdings as is currently the case, while the lesser civs would be able to build a special type of worker unit in their industrial territories assuming they capture any? Did I understand the...

SCENARIO: Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

El Justo: No, what I mean is that since Brazil and China can't build workers, they have no way of producing colonial conscript worker units (what I meant by man power). Scandinavia, on the other hand, can continuously produce them in its one puny colony - Danish Antilles. Sorry I phrased it in...

SCENARIO: Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

CA: It has nothing to do with the colonial building. If you go into the rules section under units and check the colonial conscript worker you will see under the "abailable to" section that only the colonial civs are highlighted. Making colonial conscript workers available to non-colonial civs is...

SCENARIO: Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

Regarding the non-colonial powers, I was wondering what the rationale was behind not letting them build workers. I have no problems whatsoever with their weak unit lines. That's just how it was. But the one thing these poor saps did have going for them was abundant supplies of cheap but crappy...

PBEM Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

I wish I'd discovered this thread earlier. I've played this scenario in single player a LOT and always on the highest difficulty setting (still not as difficult as playing against real humans of course). It would have been fun to join the madness. I was about to volunteer for Brazil, but...

SCENARIO: Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

I'm fine with how artillery works now. If I'm not mistaken, you can capture guns you can build but ones you can't are destroyed? That seems reasonable to me. I wouldn't mind the ability to capture engineers as well as colonial conscript workers. I don't think this is a make-or-break issue...

SCENARIO: Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

I'm having a lot of difficulty changing the colours of the different civs. I've tried changing it in the civilization section of the editor but it stays the same on the map. Is there something special I need to do? Specifically, I would like to change USA, UK, and Ottomans. Since the UK shares...

SCENARIO: Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

CA: That's true. But I think it's intended to be that way. Argentine/Persian/Siamese/Mexican/etc naval vessels just weren't as good as British/French/Japanese/American/German/etc. Since this is a historical scenario, it reflects that fact. You could add in better naval lines for the non-colonial...

SCENARIO: Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

I find that even weak naval units can be effective if you follow these two rules: 1. Build a lot of 'em. 2. Use their lethal bombard rather than their attack. Truth be told, I rarely attack with my naval units. Bombarding en masse is so much safer. Coastal Battleships and Destroyers are...

SCENARIO: Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

To answer an earlier question, I've completely eliminated the USA on admiral difficulty playing as the Japanese. Here's how I did it: Step 1: Japan should always launch an early war against Russia imho (not China - they can be dealt with later... bwahahaha). With good micro-management and by...

SCENARIO: Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

Ok, I tried leaving them in but just starting them with no cities or units. No the scenario acts as if they are there, even though they aren't. I can do diplomacy with them and they appear on the list of civs... But they don't have cities or units (that I know of). I'm not sure what to make of...

SCENARIO: Age of Imperialism; 1895-1924, Deluxe Version

Ok, I know next to nothing about editing scenarios, so I was hoping somebody could help me. I tried to remove the Cubans and the Filipinos from the scenario, and everything went crazy. I deleted both of them under the civilizations section of the editor, and I then reduced the number of civs to...
