Thank you so very much for sharing your thoughts on the AI's strategic and tactical competence.
It's music to my ears (eye's?) to read it gets your blessing. To me, "nothing" is more important than the AI's performance. It sounds wonderful!

I feel the same way but fear with the infamous "dumbing down" procedure that our public schools have so successfully installed here in the US that true strategy/turn based games will, at best, continue to slowly decline in popularity.
All the more reason to truly savor CivIV.:)

Do you think there is a reasonable chance that CivIV's AI will be improved as much as CivIII's was from CivII?
While there are endless complaints, many justified, regarding the failures of CivIII's AI, to me, relative to CivII, it was HAL.
