In the Custom Game setup, what does Land Regularity do?
I tried different selections and looked at the whole map in the World Builder to see if I could tell, but I'm not sure heh
When a native civilization comes to you with a trade proposition, like "Do you want 100 furs for 400 gold?", does accepting these raise your relations with them and rejecting them decrease your relations with them?
The same question for when your king comes to you with, "Do you want to buy these...
When a European civ notices your privateers/pirate ships in their territory and asks you to send them back to Port Royal, if you take that option then the game sends all of your privateer/pirate ships to Port Royal, not just the ones that were in their territory. Even if you have some on the...
Maybe not the right thread for my opinion here, but I also am not a fan of beaming buildings to get the non-hammer resources (stone, clay, tools). But I'm ok with beaming to get the hammers just because Civ games have always had that sort of option.
So it's truly random when it happens
(It feels like something that has been the case since vanilla Civ4Col, but I may be remembering wrong.)
I'm actually ok with a war that the King only lets last 1 turn at times as long as there's some variability, since dealing with a fickle or annoying...
I realize that milkmaids consume and then breed cattle, but my question was whether it was intended for the breeding part to receive bonuses to cattle production. Thus, a milkmaid in the stable might breed more cattle than it consumes, in other words increasing net cattle production.
Thank you!
(Though I still wonder if it might just be me who's too slow at war lol. I don't remember exactly how many turns it was when it happened to me, but it couldn't have been more than 20 turns on Epic speed before the King or some other foreign leader (in the case of a war against a...
Not sure if this is intended or not, but when using a milkman/milkmaid, it consumes X cattle but then produces [X + bonus] cattle due to the bonus that the stable itself gives to animal production.
Before I put in the milkman, the settlement is making +7 cattle per turn.
After I put in the...
When the King (or Church) has the player go into war with another AI, how many turns until the King decides to try to stop that war? I'm playing on Epic speed and it feels like every time I've just organized my forces and am sending my ships over to the enemy, the King wants to stop the war...
The entry for green vanilla pods says that they are picked in jungles or shrublands, but I don't think that's quite right, I think.
The Vanilla resource seems to have more correct information, where a tile needs to have both hills and shrubland for green vanilla pods.
However, while the...
