I am around too; seems the Hamachi peak usage/connection flood must have subsided, as I can get connected to it once again. I'm new to this particular game--is it common for the game to be paused like this? Seems it takes four days to do one turn. :D

heh, how do you like that?! "Hamachi's servers are experiencing a high volume of connection requests." In other words, I can't even get connected to Hamachi now, to unpause the game for you!

I was able to log in, just not actually DO anything--I realize now that Whiplash's turn comes before mine. I'll keep tabs on this thread, so if/when the game is unpaused and Whiplash makes his turn, I should be able to log in and make mine right away.

Oyzar asked me to sub for him over the holidays (apparently he has a death wish! :P ). However, I tried connecting to CIV4NEW via Hamachi, but it tells me "network is full". I removed the other hamachi networks I had configured for subbing, and it still gives me that error when attempting...

popejubal, are you referring to single player demands by the AI? Just slap their wrists and tell them to keep their dirty paws out of your cookie jar!

Collectively, "Hello Kazapp". ;) Codewarrior -- personally, only if the mod was included with another more significant mod, as more than one mod cannot be loaded at once. I suspect few would be willing to load a mod that fixes just THIS issue, at the expense of any other game improvements...

It seems pretty stable, actually. Give this mod a try; it's not like it makes any permanent changes to your installation. :)
