Why are you (still) modding CivCol ?

Thank you, modders, for your great work! Not a modder myself, though. I have not played Colonization since ca. 1995, but, when I saw there were these great mods out, I actually became enthusiastic about trying this Civ IV version, with mods! I'll probably play it some time soon.

    [WTP] Quick questions

This module looks very interesting! I have only played the ancient Colonization, and Civilization IV itself, but I'm interested in playing this Civ IV version of Col. What is the best set-up to play the game for the first time? With 'We, The People' only, no other modules? Or will this module...

Does Sevopedia work for FfH2? And how to install it?

Oh, I read in Denev's mod-mod thread that BUG and BBAI are included in it, and that Denev's mod-mod is compatible with FfH2 patch o, so that means it is all compatible! Yay! Since patch p only switches two lines, that shouldn't break compatibility, I expect? Thanks for pointing me to Denev. Oh...

Does Sevopedia work for FfH2? And how to install it?

Yeah I am mostly concerned that BUG or Sevopedia would not be compatible and break something that isn't immediately apparent... by the way, I read about your mod-mods with great interest! I will certainly try them once I know FfH2 through and through. Is MoM approaching completion? Is it already...

Does Sevopedia work for FfH2? And how to install it?

Yeah but I have no idea how mods work, and I'd be scared to mess something up. And how do I know if it leaves out certain articles from the 'pedia? I am still learning FfH2, so I really need the info in the game.

    Overwhelming power gets boring

Another solution could be calling a disaster (as in Sim City) and increasing your score by surviving or beating the disaster. Each next disaster would be even worse than the last. You could choose to challenge Hyborem's Sire, who is twice as powerful and starts at war with you. He will arise...

Does Sevopedia work for FfH2? And how to install it?

Ah, yes, I've heard of that, WM/MoM sounds great. I will try that after mastering basic FfH2. So there is no way to use Sevopedia in vanilla FfH2?

Does Sevopedia work for FfH2? And how to install it?

I read about Sevopedia, which makes the Civilopedia much easier to browse and read. But it doesn't appear to have been updated in years. Does it work with FfH2? Has anyone installed it? http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=198522 I am rather new to Civ mods, I have just installed...

Novice question: can the same ritual / world project only be completed once?

Ah Okay, that is even clearer: any ritual is either infinitely repeatable, or only one may per game may be built. And project and ritual are the same thing, for all practical purposes.

Novice question: can the same ritual / world project only be completed once?

Ah, thank you! I wasn't sure whether "1 left" meant 1 left for me (like National Epic) or 1 for the world. Now it is all clear!

Novice question: can the same ritual / world project only be completed once?

I am completely new and loving FfH II. It is magnificent. I am the Grigori and I just saw "Pact of the Nilhorn" pop up. It is called a World Project. - Is that the same as a Ritual? Or are only some Rituals World Projects? - It says "World Project: 1 left". Does that mean that only one can...

    Civilization wide food

Larger cities have depended on food transports since Antiquity. Food was shipped to Rome from all over the Mediterranean. It should obviously be costly and inefficient until modern times: a charge of 1 gold per unit of food, and a decay of 15% (both per, say, 10 squares of distance) might...
