I skipped Civ V, no idea how it was there, but this neat little feature of Civ IV I'd like to see in Civ VI. So, I'm in the right section :)

I'd like to Zoom in even closer, to see all the little details in buildings and so on.... but also ... well, let the image speak for itself. (But maybe zooming out so much has to be done by firaxis, and I fear, the engine is just not made for it...)

To reduce spamming you could make religious Units very expensive, like that: UPDATE Units SET Cost = Cost * 10 WHERE UnitType = "UNIT_MISSIONARY" OR UnitType = "UNIT_APOSTLE" OR UnitType = "UNIT_INQUISITOR";

He, same question here. The button itself kinda "works" (it looks like it's enabled or not), but the panel itself is gone... o.O

I never installed Civ IV from the DVD. I played it a lot and bought it about a week later for ~€50 :mischief: And I could play Civ V if I wanted to... but since years I usually buy all the games I play. Not in this case. It's already possible to play MP with pirated Versions of Civ5. And...

Here a list of pros and cons (not from me, just found it in another forum). If you can live with all the cons, good for you. I (and many others) cannot. pro chat autoupdate mp-friendly cheap game offers DLC-hub no more searching for mirrors of patches doesn't matter if you lose the DVD...

Not a problem. You just have to make sure, that you always switch to offline-mode, when you quit playing :rolleyes: Because, you know - not Steam is preventing you from playing - it's your ISP ^^

this! Valve/Steam will do everything to prevent this from happen, that'll be sure. Like Namel said. Steam doesn't prevent anybody from pirating the game. Steam prevents caring customers from buying the game... so, Steam is more a "customer-protection" than "copy-protection" :rolleyes:

See? That's exactly what I'm talking about. Without Steam, John did not have to bother about "online" "offline-mode" "save login-data" or other steam-related bs. He was able to start his (I'm repeating myself) single player offline game whenever and wherever he wanted. That's why steam IS...
