You know about but don't really have any contact with the Friscans to the south. As for the reapairs, you could make repairs to the factory that will safely get people on foot across. There is one small workshop on the Island that you can probably get repaired to start making low-tech equipment. I'll get you exact resource costs of each shortly.

You get a fairly small reduction to food, and water income, and any non-military project or construction uses slightly more resources. s for factories, it depends on what you are using them for. If you are making household goods, then the penalty applies, but if you are making weapons, it doesn't.

What are the specifics of "Hot Blooded"? I get less income from non military stuff? Are factories non military?

Starting in the south or north would help distribute the players, and I wouldn't mind a player in California.

Any recommendations for cities to play in?

I'm going to say currently no. However, most cities have some that be repaired without too much difficulty. Even the ones in the Pitt were not working until Ashur used his know-how to fix them.

I don't really know. You should try to get information about what they might want, other than independance.

I agree to that treaty. No need to change it. I think we need to placate the Shona Warlords before we can truely initate trade. Any ideas about how to do that peacefully?
