    Mod is Missing Required Dependencies

I used the auto installer to download the CBP. Everything seems to download fine. However, when I go into mods, I select the first 5 mods just fine, but when I try to check Mod 6a, it says "Mod is missing required dependencies." If I try to load without 6a, the game obviously crashes. Any ideas?

    Bug Reports - Post Here!

Not a problem, but it shouldn't be a mod conflict since I did a clean install of the game and only installed the CBP. And by the way, thanks for this project. You rejuvenated my interest in Civ.

Well, that allowed me to play without any mods, but also without the Enhanced User Interface. I still crash to desktop after selecting start game.

    Bug Reports - Post Here!

I was having issues with my game crashing when I used the CBP mods somewhere between turns 200 and 300. My game also didn't work anymore without the mods (my units had no options - couldn't settle my initial settler). I had tried a lot of mods in the past so I figured there might be some...

Idiology influence vs happiness - I think it sucks

I have yet to have a BNW game where that situation occurred. Now I've forced that situation on some AIs. If you are playing a warmonger strategy then part of that strategy has to involve taking out cultural civs with a different ideology than you. You will not only take out that threat, but...

    BNW - FPtD 1 - Ethiopia

@MarshalN - I noticed Harar wasn't growing as well, however it's working the hill tile for extra production right now since we are at -1 happiness. Could work a food tile, but with severely stunted growth, what's the point? Harar will grow once we get the luxury tiles improved and the cow...

    BNW - FPtD 1 - Ethiopia

@Kiwi Tyrant - after reading that post, I want to load Civ up right now and take our next batch of turns. I'll have to wait to tomorrow though to give other people a chance to give their two cents and also because my son is in bed. Thank you so much! Very detailed!

    BNW - FPtD 1 - Ethiopia

@MantaRevan - Yeah, HG is nice for a tall city, but I think I have too many priorities to go for it right now. @MarshalN - Petra is certainly doable, but I'm not sure I have enough decent tiles for it to make sense. I've got my scout out looking around and I hope to find another natural wonder...

    BNW - FPtD 1 - Ethiopia

Well, we got the first religion and selected Tithe and Pagoda. There are only two other Pantheons at this point. An unknown Pantheon took Stone Circles and Brazil (who we just met) took Sacred Path. We will likely have many choices left to us when we enhance our religion. Right now, we are...

    BNW - FPtD 1 - Ethiopia

@Kiwi Tyrant - You are right. We had our pantheon without much map knowledge and rolled the dice. Unfortunately, we crapped out. We're about to start our next session right now. Hopefully we'll have an update here in an hour or so. If not, it will be later tonight. @MarshalN - Happiness is...

Can you win culture victories peacefully in BNW?

My first game on BNW was a cultural victory in which I wasn't involved in a single war. Now the other cultural victory I had, I wiped out the Byzantines when I was almost had all the other Civs because otherwise I would have had to wait a very long time for my tourism to surpass her culture...

    BNW - FPtD 1 - Ethiopia

@MarshalN & MantaRevan - I've never used Papal Primacy in a game because that was my thought too. I've used Tithe rather frequently and can speak to it's power. Ceremonial Burial can be quite handy in allowing extra growth. I've never used Peace Loving, however I don't think either England or...

@froggy_t - My son's pretty awesome, but I might be a bit biased. He's 13. I'm pretty lucky he still likes to spend some time with his old man and one of his favorite pasttimes is playing Civ with me. Thanks for the input and welcome to the forums!

    BNW - FPtD 1 - Ethiopia

@Andy - You're right. If we settle near England, we better get some troops ready to defend it. @Herald - A good long-term plan that focusses on us getting our research up and running while grabbing a few defensive units for the war that will eventually come our way. @Manta - That city...

    BNW - FPtD 1 - Ethiopia

@Kiwi - My son is in favor of the tundra city and I agree my scouting up there could have been better. If there's a fish or luxury sea resource there, it would be a solid city spot. The location between the two cows seems like a better spot to me and I'm fairly certain we can settle the tundra...
