you can always redline an enemy unit by some other regular units (have you seen a tank lose to a spearman while reducing the spearman to 1hp? ;) )
personally i never used them and didn't build it in my game.
for a 20k goal, has anyone thought about getting the construction asap so that we can get the aqueduct to support 6 more workers (+12 shields or so)?
that is quite a boost. maybe we should consider a slingshot to construction instead of republic unless there's some way else around.
i wasn't aware of the lack of horse until i had too many immortals and wanted to build something that requires more shields so that i can have fewer pop-up messages asking me what to build next. :)
this shouldn't be too much of a spoiler since everyone should see that pretty well.. and you need to have the map of the starting continent anyway to view this thread. the lack of resource doesn't bother me at all since we have immortal. :)
Roman isn't that aggressive in my game and i guess it has something to do with the fact that my warrior killed the warrior accompanying Roman's 2nd settler and later on i got one worker from Roman when negotiating for peace. :) i am wondering whether this also happened to other people here. but...
I had almost the same setup as Grogs. and our QCS data are also quite similar. fortunately my Persepolis was only struck by disease once. :)

is there a way to judge where the ocean is based on the river? i want to get the 2nd city on a tile next to sea and river square very early on. this means maybe i have to reveal the fog asap and my warrior needs to know where to go...
