Here's my attempt!

Just a name change. Some civs have bonuses to specific units that also happen to be their special unit, but other than that, it's just cosmetic.

I've been wondering this myself. I *think* it has something to do with population, because when I built it in a large uncivilized city I was back up to sophisticated a couple turns later, which is a large jump. If it was a set value I don't think it would have been that effective.

I actually think a lot of them cost too little. Manage to get a good city going for a cultural victory and you can easily build a low-cost wonder in 3-4 turns. Later on in the game it gets even easier because you can always rush one or two if not going for economic.

Nice reference, I still have three to go. So frustrating! One thing I noticed right away is that Eli Whitney is a great humanitarian, not a great leader. Other than that very nice.

Military/Industrial is 500. I think the Monetary win is by far the easiest of the peaceful wins. I wish they would add at least 5k to the total before you can build the bank. Now this find just makes the whole thing even easier.

I usually always use Democracy. I can take a turn of anarchy to re-start a war if necessary.

I try to build Leo's workshop every game, and I've noticed that whenever I do, the wonder constructed sound is much, much louder than the volume of everything else. I have found this only happens with this particular wonder, and it happens *every* time. I've started to mute my TV the turn before...

I don't mind multiplayer achievements because they can be difficult to get. After all, they are *achievements* and should in theory demonstrate skill. The foundation of this system is that only those who earned the achievements get them. However, this is not the case in multiplayer, which is...
