I thought I had a work around for the Future Tech bug - when I get to the point that I have almost all of the technologies I switch the tax rate to 0 Science and freeze my tech growth. I agree with Whelkman, "Rome on 640K a day" is invaluable. I recently aquired it on Amazon (used) for less than a dollar. As for stratagy, well, I find there are many possibilities, based on experience, posts on this forum, Rome on... etc. Enjoy!
