Being behind on tech from the start means not getting to build any wonders so that means I have to be a warmonger. Its fun sometimes but not all the time. Sometimes I just want to play on King where we all start on an equal footing.

For me it all depends on the civ I'm playing as and what I'm going for. If I don't want to work with city states then I'll steal from them.

I never reroll a start. I've had great games after a bad start and terrible games after a good start. I quit games when the writing is on the wall but I don't do the reroll thing.

I started with Civ Rev on the PS3. I don't even have a PC. Civ 5 is the only game I've ever played on my Macbook.
