I must say, being able to quit is one of the greatest things about civ 4! Some folks just have short attention spans, or (gasp and alarm!), have other things to do! I know, I know this may be blasphemy, but there you have it!

Like most folks have said already, reload if that's what floats your boat, you payed for it, and you're entitled to get the most fun you can out of it! That said, I never reload, it just completely destroys the immersion factor for me, which is a huge reason why I play.

I dunno Troy, this doesn't seem as good as normal. Amphibious Archers just seem.... Kinda lame. Not nearly as brilliant as the Amphibiants. That stuff was Derping Genius.

This never seems to work for me, even with someone like Monty or Alex. I dunno, maybe I'm just lucky (or unlucky), but I rarely seem to get DoW'd well, ever, even when I'm going out of my way to piss people off so that I can conquer them. Maybe it's just me though, I play on Emperor if that helps.

I don't think it's bugged in that respect. If I remember correctly the 3.19 patch removed the whole gold/whip overflow thing because the designers (as well as several people here) considered a bug/exploit.

I'd suggest that you change some of the orders around. At least switch Cyrus and Alexander around, it kind of irks me considering that Alexander personally tore down the empire built by Cyrus. Other than that, I might give this a shot, preferably as one of the earlier leaders, but not too...

I don't usually try for a specific victory type... Usually by the time the game hits the eighteenth century, I can pretty much go for any victory type and win without any problems.
