The concept of Global Warming and what it would do isn't exactly a new subject. It was well studied before Civ 2 even.

All I can say is to improve you game, you should play a lot. Use a difficulty level where you don't always win, and that will help you get better.

I've actually seen barbarian veterans, but nothing above that. It was in the Three Sisters intro Conquest.

Take out the enemy capital...any enemy capital will do. They are usually very complacent after that because your mighty armies bested them...sometimes they'll even give you half their cities for peace.

Let me get this straight...you nuked them... So...how is that a sneak attack? They weren't expecting it obviously, but ICBMs were designed to blow up cities halfway accross the world undetected.

That depends on your version. Civ 3 Vanilla (aka Non-conquests): Great Leaders can rush any unit, city improvement, or wonder. Civ 3 Conquests: Military Great Leaders cannot rush great wonders, but can rush small wonders, units, and city improvements. Scientific Great Leaders can rush...

Once got auto-booted to the other side of Egypt...right next to Rome...took it over, then waged war on Egypt to connect my cities. Much fun.

I rip apart forest and jungle for fun...especially if I'm an industrious civ. As China I started off in the middle of the jungle...by 1200 AD, there was no jungle left on my continent. Let's hope the EPA doesn't find out :mischief:

Or just play against one or two civs on a huge map. That way you have competition, and trade partners, but you don't have to worry about them conquering you because they ran out of space. And my #1 tip to beginers: Build more cities...always...it's easier to give up a few cities later in...
