I would like to see Kohans company creation model adopted into Civilization. Imagine taking the unit scale from R.E.D. Xtreme, and then giving it the company creation system. It would look amazing.
When playing in the larger sized maps, the minimap eventually becomes so pixelated that it is virtually useless. It would be very useful to some of us if we had a pop-up world map that showed all the pertinent information.
They need to wholesale copy the multiplayer from CIV4. Lobby, options, drop-in gaming, and get rid of the region lock. They also need to add an era limiter, and modding in multiplayer.
No substantial improvements to multiplayer. It would be a dream if they copied everything about CIV4s multiplayer options and format, and just ran with that. Especially the lobby, and none of this regional garbage.
Corporations could be a way of reaching resources, and influencing the government of nation states.... exactly what they're used for now in the real world. They can also be used as a mechanism for city specialization, production, culture, commercial cities...
