Sorry if this was asked before, but is a "stable" version in the works? I d/l the svn every few weeks, but would like to know if something is in the works. I't s been almost a year now since V36...I like to burn a DVD with each version rather than use the SVN (for what I hope are obvious...

And if you still only have windows vista/7 (and Internet Explorer 9), like I do, there is no need to "update". PC "updating" is far less "needed" now than 10 years ago (ie, update every 18 months). Androids and IOS (and game consoles) have eliminated that. Thank God...sorry PC "master race", but...

It also depends on sourceforge as well. They can be slow at times, even if you have a 30meg download.

You are probably going to have to do what I did. Delete the folder and start over. When I try to update now ( about a minute ago), it merely shows no new updates as 7781 is the last one from Saturday. If you have a fast connection, even a full download should take only 10-20 minutes.

Which I just did. However, I had to delete the folder and redownload the whole thing to 7781, as Tortoise froze on me any other way.

Same here. But clean up hangs on me, so I think the whole folder maybe corrupted now. Edit---yep folder is screwed. I just redownloaded to 7781.

I think the confusion came when you said Windows 7 or later. Any 64 bit OS won't need it (like mine with Vista64). In other words, the OP cannot use it. There is no 2GB limit on his machine unless he only has 2GB, in which case it won't work anyway. He would have to add more physcal memory.

I can understand this, and pretty much suspected it. It is boring fixing things rather than adding things, and it is very boring sitting on your hands waiting for others to fix things. But to be honest it is this attitude that is eventually going to make most people to forget about the mod...
