I can get MC most of my games wiht HC if I'm playning monarch. On emperor it seems to be impossible for me. I'm usually playing on large maps with 11-13 AIs, so the map size and the number of opponents is very important thing here. People many times forget to mention these things...

I always farm or build workshops on them. With caste system workshops give extra hammer. Watermillls are good also in the later game if there is river.

I have seen in my games that AI (Hatty at least) was heading towards cultural victory. This is in BTS. I think in vanilla they are going for only space victory.

Your workers are drinking "few" beers in the bar, city improvements are not worked in next 5-10 turns.

I play marathon on large or huge because I like that games lasts longer. Now I am playing Warlords monarch level with Incas on large map, it is fun :)

Maybe after BTS the end game will be better, don't know....

I think that starting location should be random or at least option for that. I have too often Toku my next neighbour and it is very annoying especially in Warlords when he is protective and aggressive. It is not so easy to capture his cities.

Wow, i never get those kind of starts! I usually play hybrid on monarch, but i am not pro player.

Did they(Firaxis) first said that AI does not need anymore bonuses? Now they are saying that AI does not need "so" much bonuses. Hopefully AI is really much better than before, so when you change difficult level it also influences to AI's behaviour. Or am I wrong? :)

In my current game i disable vassal state bcause i think it is not working properly.

Cpu is not underpowered if you overclocked it. It can be easily overclocked to 3 Ghz.

The city is on an island and it is defendend with one,, ONE fighter (not a jet fighter) . This single fighter shoots down 35 , and damage 5. This happend in one single turn? How is it possible... If this is really true, i think it should be somehow fixed.

Just curious, does anyone know what new units are included? Hopefully this expansion is worth of money...
