* Variable unit size. Scout takes up one square. Military unit four squares. Army of military stacked units take up 8-15 squares.

Some things about this blank slate approach is lacking when it comes to immersion. When going totally modular you can play as any civ in any way you like. I do miss some of the set/ready made bonuses. Some examples:

I do get a "The settlers" feeling when reading this. Listed are just the medieval stuff, will there be numerous supply chain buildings for each era? For each region.

Is this a scenario or just a preselected map?
Maybe all civs dont have equal number of oceans around them. But of course, one might as well make them up according to actual civ make up. "Swiss Ocean"
