Well this just made my day :D You know your addicted when: your day is made by finding out you can download encrypted files that are all but worthless for another 6 days

That is one of the main reasons i will play for the domination win... With the combat strategy, you have to juggle your SPs, happiness, production, expansion, city placement, city-state releations and many more im probably forgetting:eek:

Domination all the way XD hopefully the AI is as good as they claim and its a strategic challenge

Either settler or chieften for the first game, i want to know the game like the back of my hand as soon as i can... probably move up a level every game or two until i struggle to win consistently

Know whats better than lan parties? LogMeIn Hamachi XD its great playing lan games across the country (which this software allows you to do)

From what i saw in the pre load threads your lookin at 4.77 gigs or so, but with a download speed of 4-7 megs XD

I agree with you on the issue of speed of the transports. If the only viable way to use the transports is for short distances, whether this is due to slow speed or lack of protection, then maps like earth maps become boring and essentially cut the map in half. Also if naval units are eating up...

Well this is supposed to be the most moddable civ game yet..... and it was done quite easily in cIV XD

Hopefully the Suez is a bit larger on the "huge" map type. one tile seemed a tad small considering the tiny space between the Arabian penninsula and African mainland (if you embarked you had no room to defend them with galleys or the like)

Civ is not a game for the impatient thats for sure, but one or two games and your hooked for life XD

Also if you get it from D2D you get CivIII free, which could be a good way to get your feet wet in the week before launch XD
