Civilization II 64-bit Editbox Patcher (MGE+ToT) (Also works on Win10 1709 Fall Creators Update)

Thanks for the info. I'm only going on the download info for Red Front from the https://www.civfanatics.com/civ2/downloads/scenarios/modern1/ page. ... it lists FW or MGE as requirements. The scenario ran just fine with MGE under 32 bit systems with the 32 bit delevent file. Doesn't want to...

Civilization II 64-bit Editbox Patcher (MGE+ToT) (Also works on Win10 1709 Fall Creators Update)

delevent.exe was used in old event based CIV2 scenarios that employed sequential events that were loaded as the game progressed thru time. delevent cleared the old saved game scenario and allowed a user selected batch file to load the scenario update. the delevent file I have was for the 32 bit...

Supported game versions are: Civilization II Multiplayer Gold Edition Civilization II: Test of Time Your patch works perfectly! Thanks. Have you considered patching the delevent.exe file so that many of the old event based scenario games like D Day and Red Front can be played? I think the...

how to port windows civ4 to mac osx (10.6-10.10) using wine wrappers and run more mod

Since Civ IV works, I tried to run Civ II with wineskin. It also worked except for multiple event scenarios [e.g. Red Front]. The 16 bit delevent.exe file is not supported by wineskin. Keu wrote a 32 bit delevent.exe file which can be used to replace the old one. Although written to enable...

    civ II on iMac

I found the problem with iMacs, CIV II batch files, and wineskin. All the batch files use "delevent.exe" to clean up the events data in the xx.sav file prior to reloading the new events. Delevent is a 16bit file and wineskin does not support 16 bit executables. The batch files all run OK...

    civ II on iMac

As long as the scenario runs without batch files, no problems with civ Ii or civ IV scenarios. Has to be a way to run the batch files within the wineskin wrapper.

    civ II on iMac

I have MGE running under wineskin but am stumped when it comes to running batch files that edit rules, units, and events files. Is anyone working on scenarios that run On MACs with wineskin? I'm trying to get Nemo's "Red Front" scenario running.

    [MA] Units

A rose by any name ... My bust on DDE the WWII term was DE. Approx 1022 DE's built in WWII. My references list 311 UK WWII flower and castle corvettes, and 151 river class frigates. Additionally the UK converted all remaining V and W class WWI DD's to destroyer escorts for WWII. Pick a...

    Modern Alliances

No separate class required. Just a muse on why aircraft like the p-51 wouldn't have made it on carriers. The best representation for the US WWII would be the F-6F. A-6M for IJN. The UK chose to primarily utilize US fighters and was very successful with the F-4U. Hurricanes were mostly CAM's...

    Modern Alliances

Something real world to consider: Carrier aircraft were purpose built for the stress of landings, had a wider wheel base for landing roll out stability, larger wing area and larger control surfaces for approach stability, lower landing speeds, and a shorter wider bladed prop for deck clearance...
