Hello Sukritact! Thanks for your many Civ VI projects! I have enjoyed several of your mods - natural wonders, civilizations and resources. Today I tried to add your Burma mod. However, it will not load. I even disabled all other mods and only enabled the Burma mod, but the game still...
In my last couple of games, I have been experiencing an issue with how city-states appear on the map. At the beginning of the game, I can see them normally. But at some point, the name of the city-state's name bar no longer appears on the map. Therefore, there is no information I can obtain...
In my current game, I noticed two resources that are producing amenities for six (rather than 4) cities. They are beeswax and betel nuts. I have a couple resource mods running, but I don't recall either of those resources being included. Does anyone know how they are generated?
@wesplaysciv
Yes... you are correct. Thank you for that information. I hope the bug gets fixed soon.
Regarding the Chapel, I am only playing vanilla Civ VI.
One of the beliefs of my religion is Jesuit Education. I have been able to buy Theater Square buildings with faith. All of a sudden, I can't buy them anymore. In addition, only one of my 15 cities will allow me to buy military units. I can buy a naturalist and religious units.
My government...
How does Abu Al-Qasim Al-Zahrawi's passive actually work? Does he have to be active or asleep? I had him active in my game -- stacked with a melee unit and next to a cavalry unit. The cavalry unit never healed. Do the units have to be in "healing status?"
@Kmart_Elvis
Wow, you got it! The civ IS suzerain of Jerusalem. I thought something had to be modifying their cities, but I certainly didn't think of a city-state. I haven't seriously been playing Civ VI for long, so thanks for solving that mystery for me.
@Victoria
I was also thinking...
I'm learning that religious pressure can be annoying and to understand it better, I added a mod that shows some city stats in regards to pressure. I looked at the civ that is pounding me with apostles and they have several of their cities producing +4 religious pressure. I thought only the...
When my builder is standing on a Rainforest tile and I hover over the Lumber Mill icon, the results of improving the tile say "+2 Production and +2 Gold." However, the tile yield actually goes from 2 Food, 1 Production and 2 Gold to 2 Food, 3 Production and 0 Gold. Is this a bug or a typo...
@Vokarya
Thank you for the information about Fixed Borders. Would you happen to know the ratio of culture required to culture-flip a city if the No Fixed Borders option is set at the beginning of the game?
@MAvL
Thanks for your reply! Apparently, fixed borders is a confusing topic based on the threads I have read. I'm glad you cleared it up that fixed borders means that you can't lose tiles to rival culture because I was getting the impression that you could lose tiles even with fixed borders.
I have been reading through countless threads that reference the concept of fixed borders, but I still have not found a clear and concise explanation of what is the difference between "fixed borders" and "no fixed borders." Specifically, I am interested in the impact each has on the spread of...
