Agreed that appealing to the peasants would be a smart move for the Russian Whites if they can actually figure this out. Also, I wonder just how many internal migrations, whether voluntary or not, a White-led Russia is going to have.

Agreed. It's worth keeping in mind that all Central European, Southern European, and Eastern European countries other than Czechoslovakia became authoritarian and/or totalitarian dictatorships by 1938 in real life.

Also, for the record, Imperial Germany's post-World War I policy towards its puppet Poland in this TL appears to be very similar to Joseph Stalin's post-World War II policy towards his puppet Poland in our TL (without the Communism, of course).
