Oh, I usually learn songs that interest me, usually either movie soundtracks, popular music, or some jazz pieces. I have some of what I know uploaded to youtube, in my sig. I've only been playing for a year; though, I've had beginning piano lessons for 4 years, 5 years ago. Been teaching myself for about a year. :)

Mr Brazil, Persia wants to know about partial membership in the Emperor's alliance:

      "From Persia
      To Egypt, Brazil
      CC: Japan, Germany

I've obtained approval for observer membership of article 4* from Japan and Germany, how do Egypt and Brazil feel about Persia's partial accession into the Alliance?

*4. The signatories agree to encourage the growth and strength of each others' nations through reduced tariffs.

Hopeful the busy nations of the world can take time for the economy."

You are more industrialised than Gran Colombia, which is barely starting its modernisation program, but less than Argentina. You've got a generation of modernisation under your belt, and can use this as a base to start catching up to Argentina if you play your cards right. Your growth might be better than Argentina's if you do, and could catch up within a decade or two. Mind you, Gran Colombia might be able to as well, though their growth might be slower.

Gran Colombia might have a bigger population, but its still an underindustrialised backwater. Gran Colombia can be thought of as a smaller, weaker Brazil, in that its primary export is coffee. There's nobody to properly use the oilfields, since foreigners don't want to risk nationalisation from the fascists, so only the government is willing to do it, though they haven't got the funds yet. On top of that, a poor, undereducated agriculture based population isn't helping it either.

continued again; Argentina also had the 6th highest GDP per capita during the 30ies, and in this TL that period was extended until now. Yeah, you might have a lot faster growth, but Brazil is not at Argentina's level yet.
      That's why. :p
There was a lot of thought put into the economics of the world, I just didn't want to bore everybody by putting it in the history.

continued; Also, Argentina was extremely wealthy pretty much right up until 1930 in our timeline, when there was a military coup and the installation of the junta on top of the Great Depression. In this TL, there was no coup - Peron was elected - and the Great Depression was a lot more moderate and not nearly as bad. Brazil's had twenty years of peace and relative prosperity, but its had to work its way up from an economic malaise and a very large and very poor rural population, while Argentina was pretty prosperous from the start, and its also had the benefit of selling goods to the Germans and French during the Great War too - specifically beef and wool, which is more lucrative for Argentina since its major competitor in Australia is socialist and thus its goods are more expensive.

Because Brazil started (key word is started - its modernising, but its nowhere near industrialised) industrialising only twenty years ago, while Argentina had a very modern and diversified economy since the 1870ies.
