yea I got so tired of the constant changes that I play with 2.7.3 (the last 2.x version) exclusively now.

I just block the tech from specific civs. See this example file where I blocked the techs of native american, nomadic, southeast asian, and african civs.

there is a settings file in the mod that you can change “1” to “0” to turn off events.

Yes the Events part please turn everything off because surikact or Enginseer will have to fix that if they ever come back to this mod. The decisions work fine though!

use that post settings file so there is no more dependency to the old VP mods. You can copy paste the LUA and XML files for mine over. They didn't fix any content.
