As I've hinted on Discord: I'm ok with it but will take a long, long while for me to upload the current version of 3/4 UC. As axatin said above - I'll probably just upload all other mods (small file sizes so my bandwidth can handle it) and will just link to the version of 3/4 UC I'm using (very...
I've always liked the idea of global GP pools (including in civ4!), but IMO 1) and 2) could work.
Think about it: in VP, yields scale VERY hard into the lategame. Train station/seaports are +25% to your total production, Factories can easily add 20-50 base production to your city once complete...
Also as a side note to what's above, games probably go much faster if all players are on the same timezones (or have an harmonious schedule).
And it's possible to run several games at once, PYDT automates that very well.
And to add on that, I don't think it's healthy to have a starting biome to be tied to "Pick this Pantheon or you will suffer like hell". It removes agency (What if I want another Pantheon? What if I would've liked to warmonger with God of All Creation and delay Shrine?)
Ancestor Worship is good in my book if there are no other obvious options to me, and/or I have a gold-rich start that means I will instantly invest 80 gold into the Council in all my new cities.
Alternatively if my Pantheon was unlocked very early (Faith Ruins, Stonehenge...) and I'm not even...
Yeah, 11ish is close to the limit as something I'd do with Polynesia for instance. Maybe up to 13 if I discover Coal and have to settle emergency cities to grab any.
I voted 5 and all options are very precise so it's easy to get lost ; but in any case in my opinion the priority is that all sea-related bonuses have to go. As far as I know, real-life Songhai had ZERO coastline.
Well, which improvement do you consider to be a good metric for "good"?
Because damn, I often build Villages OUTSIDE of trade routes/city connections and they're still worth it. I'd rather have 2 gold 1 culture than 2 production (Mine) in most cases. Culture is arguably the strongest yield in...
> "Tourism is more than a victory condition : it also helps your trade routes and preserves the buildings and population of conquered cities.",
More exactly I think it should be mentioned that Tourism greatly increases the Food% of the origin city of the trade route ; the extra gold is rarely...
Immortal to get myself whooped up, Emperor to win and wonder why I can't do the same on Immortal
Keep in mind I play with Milae's difficulty submod by default
As someone who's won Deity mostly thanks to a good start and playing an arguably strong civ (Australia), I'd still see the value in playing Emperor/Immortal to relax with a new civ and with less regard for your micromanagement.
