They're effective when the barbs (gauls love to do so) come running like hell toward your army. If you let the dogs out (sorry, but I needed this XD ) their charge will be disrupted and more random than it alrealdy is, making defence lot easier. figure that yesterday. XD

I know that there is friendly fire in rtw. But I'm asking about war dogs. Do they attack my troops when the battle is all messy? And are they worthy waiting 2 turns?
