Was playing my first game as Austria and"married" my first city state and it gave me the option to puppet or annex. I'm confused because both options raised my unhappiness by 8. I thought puppeting was supposed to give u less happiness. How come not with diplomatic marriage? Also, after that...

You do realize that the "removal" word you seem so hung up on does not mean they were just able to open up the code, highlight a few lines, and hit delete. "there, you can only put 1 unit on a tile". 1UPT changed everything else around it. Tactics, movement, abilities, ranged, terrain, etc...

yup...that is kind of what Ranos was trying to explain. If you end your turn but still have some units to move it will go to "Please Wait" breifly and then go to the unit/units that need orders, however, in this instance, the moment you are done giving your last order it will auto-end (kind of)...

^^^ I too pulled out Civ 4 a few weeks ago and decided to play a game. I liked CiV pretty much from release and more and more with each patch but I gotta say that playing 4 again made me appreciate it soooo much more. Don't get me wrong, 4 was a great game but the SOD???? OMG!!! one AI SOD...

One thing they really need to address is scaling the amout of gold the AI will give you in trade for certain things. Unless i have a specific need for open borders from another civ i prefer to sell my open borders, usually for 50g, sometime 43g if theyre being difficult. Problem is that later on...

I always like to see more Civs in DLCs. i always feel they are worth the money. I don't know if this would be done in a DLC or a full blown expansion but I would like to see them re-introduce multiple leaders for each civ. I know we don;t have "traits" as they were in civ4 but extra leader...

Alex...without a doubt. He's just a bastard. My second hated would actually be Siam. For some reason whenever Siam is next to me I can guarantee a backstab. And, if he beelined to those elephants of his before I get pikemen, fending off the assault can be difficult.
