Should the Vikings be the only ones able to have Naval/Embarked Units cross over Crushed Ice Tiles ? (Nobody can currently)
That would make for one strongly themed unique trait right there ! And would complement their Naval/Embark focus, while allowing for some unexpected pathing for invasions...
I would never know which district to build first until I see the map of course.
A nice curve of mountains ? This +4 science early will have turned into 1000 science by turn 250.
Pantanal happens to be around ? A wonder that makes amazing use of +4 faith adjency bonus of Holly Site without...
By the way this is a little bit Off-Topic but I thought it would be worth mentioning that the wonders that give an additional card slot are not retroactive.
Meaning that if you capture a city with one, you do not get the additional card slot.
The description should therefore be "Awards an...
I'm disappointed at myself for not being able to explain my view more clearly. How could it be misinterpreted so badly ?
I was being neither sarcastic nor condescending, and I certainly never meant anybody should ignore people on this forum or close the forum (really? what?)
I was genuinely...
I would kindly like to remind everyone that, among the total amount of people who bought Civ 6 :
- few go about reading Civ6 related stuff online.
- even fewer spend the time to write threads on forums.
- and those who do write threads are mostly men in the middle to upper age category (I said...
I must say Sewers don't feel quite right.
And it's not the fact that most of the time, neighbourhoods are stronger.
I quite like the idea of having some buildings generally weaker than others but that will have their rare moment of fame.
I remember that tight Islands game where I had 6 tiles...
I am extremely happy they emphasized the role of the units in your army.
Siege Class are strong against cities.
Other units are weak against cities.
Isn't that great ?
It gives you a very solid reason to diversify your army, that both makes sense gameplay wise, and is historically accurate as...
I agree with you.
It was a change I wouldn't have thought of because it does add a lot of randomness and luck to your game. But Civ in the end is a single player focused game, not a competitive multiplayer one (like for instance StarCraft where maps are perfectly symmetric to ensure all players...
I fully agree with you. In Civ5, it was "fine", "not the best promotion", and indeed you could set up a few fortified units that would be really hard to kill.
But this time around the "Medic" is a unit on its own that you have to produce, and walk to your army. And i think it's a brilliant idea...
I must say that the Medic in its current form is both disappointing and confusing.
Anyone would assume it passively heals adjacent units for a small fixed amount each turn, no matter if the Medic or the adjacent units completed any other actions that turn. This way, it would add a nice layer of...
LoL?...
To the OP : the game does not tell you how many turns are left for your peace deals. I agree it's very much lacking... They will obviously add a "current deals" tab in a future patch for this obviously lacking feature.
For now you can get one of the UI enhancing mods. One of them...
Divine Spark is always the best choice.
+1 Great Person Point from Holy Site( Great Prophet), Campus ( Great Scientist), and Theater Square ( Great Writer) Districts
The day they add "in the districts of your capital only" to it, you can look at the other Pantheons.
It is strong early...
Really ?! Oh man you are missing out! That feeling when you invade the enemy civilazition going for Culture Win, take all their cities and snatch 10 great works, then proceed to park your army at the boarder of another cultured enemy, drop just a few shots at one of his cities and proceed to...
Amongst the great strengths of the Civilization Series and the particular ones of Civ6 there are indeed several key issues that were more than covered in this forum so far.
But "too many units on the map" ?
No bro.
Reading again your list of complaints to try and find some common ground with...
Woops!
Some bad RNG I suppose.
Currently sitting on one surrounded by juicy grassland hills with woods all around.
Although note : the Woods Yield (+1 Prod) are NOT doubled (Feature Yield not Tile Yield) so it is still worth if to CHOP CHOP them.
